Tengizchevroil LLP (TCO) donated modern medical equipment worth 660 million tenge to the district hospital. This equipment will, among other things, enable patients in the region to receive better treatment.

The donated medical equipment includes a computed tomography (CT) scanner, an ultrasound diagnostic system, patient monitors, a portable dental X-ray machine, a surgical LED light, an operating medical light, a dental unit, an autorefractometer, and other medical devices.

“By investing in the development of healthcare, we primarily contribute to people’s well-being, family health, children’s future, and the sustainable development of the entire region. Modern healthcare is impossible without high-tech equipment, new methods, and a professional team. As a socially responsible company, our task is to create conditions for the development of these capabilities. We believe the new equipment will enhance the quality and accessibility of medical care for district residents and become another important step in the development of regional healthcare,” said Nurmukhamed Kartabayev, General Manager of Government and Public Affairs at Tengizchevroil.

Last year, more than 2,000 patients received treatment at the Makhambet District Hospital. The medical institution continues to provide quality services to residents and remains one of the key healthcare institutions in the region. The new equipment will improve the quality of diagnostics and treatment and will enable medical services for nearly 26,000 residents of the district.

Head of the Atyrau Regional Healthcare Department Kaisar Abdaliev emphasized:
“Cooperation with TCO makes it possible to consistently strengthen the material and technical base of the region’s medical organizations. Equipping them with modern equipment facilitates the introduction of new diagnostic and treatment methods and improves the quality of medical care provided to the population.”

For the last 6 months, TCO has provided equipment worth approximately KZT 4 billion to 14 medical organizations in the Atyrau region. The support covered the perinatal center, oncology dispensary, city polyclinics, district hospitals of Makhambet, Inder, and Isatay districts, as well as other specialized medical institutions in the region.
