A survey conducted by Randstad Employer Brand Research in 34 countries around the world identifies the most attractive industries and employers. TCO was named the most attractive employer in Kazakhstan for the second year in a row. In addition to TCO, top 3 companies in Oil & Gas industry included “KazMunayGas” NC and “Karachaganak Petroleum Operating” BV.

Randstad Employer Brand Survey is the most comprehensive, independent, and in-depth employer brand survey in the world, identifying the most attractive employers among thousands of companies. The selection reflects opinion of working-age population aged 18 to 65 years. According to the research, among the most important criteria for a good employer, the respondents noted: good pay - 79%, financial stability - 72%, career progress - 67%, a pleasant working environment and an interesting job - 61%.
“Creating a safe working environment during COVID-19 pandemic is the least significant criteria for choosing an employer for all groups (32%), but it is more of a concern for women than men. A career progress is a significant criterion for women, people aged 25-34, as well as people with higher education”, said Valeria Petrunina, CEO of ANCOR Central Asia.
At the end of 2020, full-time local employees in TCO Base Business held 92% of positions. Kazakhstani managers in Base Business represented 85% of the total managerial workforce.
