The day of social protection workers was celebrated at the Regional Philharmonic Hall named after. N. Zhanturin. Deputy Akim of Atyrau Oblast Zhassulan Bisembiev awarded a number of employees, individuals and companies, including Tengizchevroil (TCO), with letters of appreciation for their contribution to the socio-economic development of Atyrau oblast.

During the event all participants were given heart-shaped cards with wishes. These were hand-made by children with special needs and included pupils from the center for special social services No. 3. This year, TCO donated a specially equipped invataxi to this center, as well as to the regional rehabilitation center for the disabled. Also, equipment was purchased for a technology room in a regional special boarding school.

Also, the following support was provided to Zhylyoi district: purchased and transferred 6 ambulances, an invataxi for the movement of people with disabilities, and 4 units of special equipment intended for the city's public services, including a crane-equipment, a vacuum sweeper and two road combination machines. Musical equipment and stage costumes were also donated to the Ken Zhylyoi House of Culture. In total, in 2023, TCO provided more than $2.3 million sponsorship support to Atyrau oblast and Zhylyoi district.
